Frequently asked questions about HHC

What is HHC?

HHC stands for hexahydrocannabinol and is a naturally occurring cannabinoid of the hemp plant. HHC was discovered in the 1940s by chemist Roger Adams.

What is the difference between HHC and THC?

HHC stands for hexahyrdocannabinol and, like THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), is a cannabinoid found in the hemp plant. Unlike THC, HHC is not illegal. HHC is not covered by the Austrian and German Narcotic Drugs Act and the New Psychoactive Substances Act.

How is HHC produced?

Since there is very little of HHC in the hemp plant, it is much more sustainable to produce HHC from natural CBD. The molecular structure is 100% similar to the natural HHC.

Are there quality differences with HHC?

In any case. Various means can be used in the manufacturing process described. It is important to work hygienically and professionally in order to obtain a pure and high-quality product afterwards.

How to check the quality of HHC?

This can only be done in the laboratory. Several factors play a role here:

  • On the one hand, as with all new substances, it is important that there is no toxicity. We have tested our extract in a laboratory for toxicity and saw that the toxicity is the same as CBD.
  • On the other hand, there are always two variants in HHC, the R and the S variant. Only the R variant is interesting for us. Therefore, the correct ratio of S and R is important. Our HHC consists of 68% HHC R and 32% HHC S.

Is HHC safe?

In addition to a Cannabinoid Analysis, we have examined our HHC even more closely. For this, we performed tests on cells to check the safety. Conclusion: CBD, HHC and THC are exactly equally safe. It should be added here that we can only speak of the extract we use. Since HHC can be produced in different ways, it is necessary to test each HHC individually.

What are Live Terps?

Live Terps are obtained directly from the fresh plant by distillation, even before it is dried. This way, all the essential oils formed by the hemp plant can be extracted. Our Live Terps have a minty nuance and are reminiscent of the flower Jane, Karma Kush.

The big difference to terpenes is that a large part already volatilizes during the drying process. Living terpenes have a unique aroma.
