Organic Calamus (acorus calamus)
Calamus, a pasture (weed), can be found in swamps and on the shores of ponds and rivers. According to Pilinius, Calamus was imported from Syria, India and Arabia. Its herbal and lemony fresh aura bestows clarity. Calamus is cross-culturally said to be a tonic for strenghtening nerves and serves as an enhancement for meditative concentration. The asarone containing ethereal oil makes it a valuable aromatic rootstock.
