What is BioBizz All-Mix?
BioBizz All-Mix is a soil mix designed to provide a comprehensive, micro-active ecosystem for plants. This mix imitates nutrient-rich soil and supplies plants with all the necessary nutrients for several weeks without additional fertilisation.
Composition and function:
- 20% sphagnum peat moss:
This moss is an effective water reservoir and helps to regulate the moisture in the soil. It helps to create a slightly acidic environment, which many plants prefer.
- 35% garden peat:
Improves the soil’s ability to store water and nutrients and provides a continuous supply that contributes to the general health of the plants.
- 10% high-quality organic BioBizz worm (cast) humus:
This humus is rich in beneficial microorganisms and organic nutrients that improve the soil structure and promote root growth. - 30% perlite:
Increases the drainage and aeration of the soil, which is essential for the health of the roots and for avoiding waterlogging.
- 5% pre-mix:
Contains a variety of micronutrients and trace elements that are important for the immediate growth of the plants.
Instructions for use:
Step 1: Preparation
Moisten All-Mix thoroughly with water before using it for the first time. This is crucial to activate the mix and to “wake up” the components it contains.
Step 2: Resting phase
Leave the moist mix to rest for 36 hours. This period is necessary to activate the pre-mix and the nutrients so that the microorganisms can start their work.
Step 3: Temperature management
Always keep the soil slightly warm (ideally between 20°C and 24°C). A soil temperature that is too low slows down microbial activity and can inhibit plant growth.
Step 4: Water management
Let the soil dry out slightly between waterings. This is important so that fresh air can get into the substrate, which promotes soil respiration and thus the health of the roots.
