I have a nut allergy. Can I still take the CBD oil?

In our experience, most customers tolerate hemp oil well despite a nut allergy. Some people report, however, that they feel a slight burning sensation. However, cross-allergies can also occur, so depending on the severity of the allergy we recommend trying our CBD oil very carefully. If you know that you tolerate coconut despite your nut allergy, you can of course also switch to CBD Fresh .

Which CBD oil should I take?

Most of our customers gradually work their way towards the perfect dose. Whether a 5%, 10% or 20% CBD oil is best suited for you also depends, of course, on your reasons for taking it. So far, however, no overdose from CBD is known, and the WHO also gives CBD a very good safety profile. This means you can feel free to experiment a little.

Our THC-free products are mainly for people who do not want to consume any THC at all. There are also many people who feel more comfortable travelling with a completely THC-free product. You can find more information on which CBDeus is right for you here .

Can I also take CBD during pregnancy?

As there are currently still few studies on CBD & pregnancy or CBD & breastfeeding, we would recommend that you talk to your doctor about it. If you feel that you cannot raise the subject with them, we will also be happy to recommend doctors in Vienna who are familiar with the topic.

What does maximum bioavailability mean?

Bioavailability is a measure of how quickly and to what extent a substance is absorbed by the organism. As the human body itself consists largely of water, it can absorb water-based products better and faster than, for example, fat-soluble molecules or vitamins (e.g. vitamin D3, K). These are absorbed by our body much more slowly and only in limited amounts.

How quickly does the product work?

Our CBDeus products work particularly quickly. That is why they are especially well suited for people who benefit from the acute effect.

Why do I need a source of fat?

Cannabinoids are fundamentally fat-soluble. That is why the valuable components of hemp can be dissolved better in hot water by adding fat.

Can I mix it with other teas?

Yes, you are welcome to mix our tea with other teas or spices, as long as you add a source of fat. On our blog you will also find various delicious recipes.

What is the difference from Nobeltee?

Our Nobeltee is made from 100% indoor flowers, while our organic hemp tea comes from the outdoor field. But don’t worry: both are free from harmful substances and are grown completely without chemicals.

Many of you still know our flowers by their old names. We – or rather the Austrian federal government – felt like a change and now offer them as Nobeltees: but don’t worry, this is pure vanity: the contents stay the same!

Can I smoke the flowers?

We are not allowed to make any recommendation on this. We have heard that customers smoke our flowers. It is best to find out on the internet or from influencers we work with which method is best for you.

Do the flowers get you high?

No, CBD does not get you high. Most of our customers report that with CBD they mainly feel a physical effect. Many describe precisely this as very pleasant, because THC gives them anxiety or similar unpleasant feelings, but CBD does not.

I don’t want to smoke. Is there an alternative?

Of course! You can also drink our flowers as a tea, or dissolve them in fat and use them for cooking & baking. Or you can use a vaporiser, such as the PAX. This lets you vaporise flowers instead of burning them. Here you will find more information about this.

Is it an alternative to smoking?

When vaporising with a vape stick, temperatures do not exceed 160°C, so no toxic combustion products such as tar and carbon monoxide are produced, as they are when smoking. In addition, our vape sticks contain no nicotine and therefore no harmful substances compared with tobacco blends.

Can I also fill in my own liquids?

No, that is not possible. Our MAWU vape sticks do not contain conventional PG / VG-based liquids. Our filling consists of 100% hemp.

What happens if I take too many puffs?

The most important thing is: if you are not used to vaping, excessive inhaling may lead to coughing. It is best to work your way carefully towards the perfect dose – as with all our products.

How long does one charge last?

Our batteries last quite a long time. At around 20 puffs a day, the battery should last about a week

Where do the herbs come from?

The herbs all come from controlled EU agriculture. We developed the composition of the herb blend together with herb expert Marissa Cosma Vitelli.

Do the herbs also have an effect?

The herbs themselves have no intoxicating effect. But they don’t just taste and smell soothing – each herb also has a specific effect. Further down you will find an explanation of each individual herb.

Is there another way to use it?

You can also pour hot water over our Riechkraut and use it as a tea, or burn it as incense. If you would like to enjoy our CBD Riechkraut as a tea, please make sure to add a source of fat, as with our hemp flower tea.

What can I do with the crystals?

Our CBD crystals are particularly well suited for making creams or lotions. Some of our customers also use them to make vaginal suppositories.

How are the crystals made?

Through gentle extraction and subsequent purification, the ingredient CBD is isolated from the hemp plant. It is present in >99% purity.

Can I put this in my e-cigarettes?

With the help of the crystals, you can enrich your favourite liquid with CBD. To do this, first stir up a base with CBD crystals. For this, warm the base to a maximum of 70°C. Then stir in the CBD crystals until they have completely dissolved. As a small example: 500mg CBD crystals in 10ml result in a 5% CBD base.

Full spectrum means that the entire cannabinoid spectrum is contained in a product. This creates the so-called entourage effect. Put simply, this means: “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” Through the interplay of the individual components, the maximum potential of all the valuable ingredients of the hemp plant unfolds – unlike pure CBD substance. So-called MCT oils contain medium-chain fatty acids, such as caprylic acid. These fats above all supply our brain with plenty of energy and help us to stay focused. Young people in particular, who still have a more active endocannabinoid system, benefit from this effect. MCT oils are broken down directly in the liver. That is why they are ideally suited for people who feel best on a ketogenic diet.

Our hemp tea contains no caffeine. Many of our customers report that they like to drink our tea in the evening before going to bed and that this helps them to improve the quality of falling asleep and staying asleep. This effect can be attributed to the harmonious interplay of the meditative preparation, the scent, the taste and of course the beneficial effect of the hemp flowers & leaves. This question is not so easy to answer. In principle there are 3 different types: sativa, ruderalis and indica. To put it very briefly: all our strains are hybrids. In principle, our CBD crystals are fat-soluble. So you can mix them into any fat or oil. To do this, they simply need to be warmed with a source of fat until they dissolve – not above 70 degrees. So you can either use an oil that you know your skin tolerates well, such as almond oil or jojoba oil. You can also try dissolving the crystals with a little fat over medium heat (approx. 70 degrees) and mixing them into your usual face/body care. However, whether this works depends on the composition of your favourite product. We therefore recommend trying it first with a small amount of your care products.

CBD or cannabidiol is a component of the female cannabis plant which – unlike the far better-known active substance THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) – is not psychoactive and therefore has no intoxicating effect. CBD, like other cannabinoids contained in the hemp flower, activates the body’s own endocannabinoid system. This complex physiological signalling system is part of our nervous system and helps us to keep our body in a healthy balance. Movement, mood, perception and motivation are controlled here. With CBD, regularity and sometimes a little patience are required. It is important that you give yourselves time – the endocannabinoid system needs 2-3 weeks to activate.

Put simply: the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Our CBD oils and the Full Spectrum CBDeus line are full spectrum products, which means that they contain all the valuable ingredients of the hemp plant. Through the interplay of the individual components, the maximum potential of the cannabinoids unfolds – unlike pure CBD substance – which science calls the “entourage effect”. With the new legal situation, which came into force at the end of January 2025, there are important changes to the sale of CBD flowers in Austria. The Verwaltungsgerichtshof has ruled that CBD flowers with a THC content below 0.3 % are classified as “herbal smoking products”. As a result, they are subject to the Tabakmonopolgesetz and may only be sold in licensed Trafiken. For you as consumers, this means: ✅ The possession and consumption of CBD flowers with less than 0.3 % THC remains legal. ✅ However, they must be purchased from state-licensed Trafiken. In addition, a tobacco tax of 34 % is charged. ✅ Our high-quality CBD products such as oils, cosmetics and aroma products continue to be legally available from us.

CBD does not fall under the Suchtmittelgesetz. Purchase, possession and consumption are therefore legal. The THC limit of max. 0.3% in Austria and max. 0.2% in Germany must not be exceeded. Legal CBD therefore cannot get you high. We have all our products thoroughly tested by independent laboratories and publish all certificates of analysis. Hemp-based HHC is a sustainable alternative to natural HHC, which is only contained in the plant in very small amounts. By using high pressure and hydrogen, CBD is converted into HHC, which corresponds 100% to the molecular structure of natural HHC. Although HHC is not obtained directly from the hemp plant, it is a product based on natural hemp and can therefore be regarded as a semi-synthetic cannabinoid.

This can only be done in a laboratory. Several factors are important: On the one hand, as with all new substances, it is important that there is no toxicity. We had our extract tested for safety in a laboratory and saw that HHC is just as safe as CBD. On the other hand, HHC always occurs in two variants, the R and the S variant. Only the R variant is of interest to us. That is why the right ratio of S and R is important. Depending on the batch, our HHC consists of approximately 68% HHC R and 32% HHC S. Our manufacturer tests for the 46 most common solvents or their residues using HS-GC-MS/MS. ICP-MS is used to rule out contamination with cadmium, arsenic, lead and mercury.

Our strains are always defined by the terpene profile used. Live terpenes are used in our CBD vape extracts. Depending on the strain, our live terpenes have different natural terpene compositions. You will find details in the respective product descriptions. Live terpenes are obtained fresh directly from the plant, before it is dried. Depending on the strain, the fresh plants are distilled from either outdoor or indoor cultivation. This means that all the essential oils produced by the hemp plant can be obtained.

The big difference compared with terpenes obtained in the dry state is that a large proportion has already evaporated during the drying process. Our CBD vape cartridge strains with live terpenes therefore have a unique aroma. Unfortunately, imitations of terpenes are often used, in which only 4-8 monoterpenes are mixed together to recreate or imitate the aroma of certain strains. So don’t be impressed by names like “Amnesia Haze” and co. just because they sound familiar. You will find the natural terpene composition of our strains as an image in the product description.

This only happens very rarely, and if you don’t remove the silicone cap, it is even less likely. But if it does happen: clean the hole in the black ceramic element with a toothpick, disconnect the cartridge from the battery and clean the contacts there as well. Warm the cartridge upright (for example in a small cup) in the oven at 60°C. In winter it can happen more easily that the mass becomes too firm. If you don’t have an oven to hand, you can also warm the cartridge with a lighter until the extract in the cartridge is liquid.

If the light flashes during use, this is a sign that the battery will soon be empty. Simply screw the USB charger onto the battery and charge it for approx. 2 hours. If you think your battery is empty but it may actually be the cartridge, you can test this as follows: Unscrew the cartridge from the battery and draw on the battery. If everything works, the battery lights up at the bottom. This indicates that the cartridge is clogged due to the cold. You can briefly warm the cartridge standing upright in the oven at approx. 60°C or with a lighter until the extract is liquid again. After that you can draw on it again and enjoy the aroma. Attention: The battery is already fully charged before first use and can be used straight away.

The names reveal that the two cannabinoids are very similar, but they are not the same. CBD and H4-CBD are attributed different effects. They are similar in structure, but the active centre is hydrogenated. It can therefore be assumed that the effects are also different. Hexahydrocannabidiol is said to be 100 times stronger than CBD. In addition, CBD acts on CB2 receptors and H4-CBD acts more on CB1 receptors.

Automatic, or autoflowering, refers to a special type of cannabis strain that starts flowering automatically regardless of the length of daylight. All the autoflowering seeds we offer are also feminised. With conventional seeds used in hemp cultivation, the plant only starts flowering when the day phase becomes shorter, in July, or when the light cycles in a tent or greenhouse are reduced in a controlled way to 12 hours. With autoflowering seeds this happens by itself, usually after a certain number of weeks after the seeds germinate. These strains often have a short life span and are popular with growers who want quick harvests or who grow in regions with limited light conditions.

Feminised plants are cannabis plants that are exclusively female. In nature, cannabis plants are usually either male or female, with the female plants being the ones that produce the coveted flowers with a high cannabinoid content. Feminised seeds are produced using various breeding techniques to ensure that every plant grown from a feminised seed is female. This eliminates the risk of pollination by male plants and enables growers to achieve an even harvest of high-quality flowers. In addition, compared with autoflowering seeds, feminised seeds only start flowering as the days get shorter, i.e. in our latitudes in the course of July, or, when growing indoors, only when the day phase is reduced from 18 to 12 hours.

Autoflowering seeds flower automatically regardless of the light cycle and are ideal for quick harvests or for growing in regions with short summers. Feminised seeds guarantee that every plant is female, which enables an even harvest of high-quality flowers and reduces the risk of pollination; the flowering phase is triggered either in nature by the shortening days in July or indoors by reducing the day phase from 18 to 12 hours. Regular seeds are a mix of male and female.

The decision between indoor vs. outdoor growing depends on your priorities: Indoor growing: Offers full control over light, temperature and climate. This guarantees you the highest organic quality and maximum privacy all year round, but involves higher costs due to electricity consumption. Outdoor growing: Uses the natural power of the sun and is particularly sustainable and cost-effective. You often achieve higher yields, but you are dependent on the weather in Austria or Germany. Is CBD dangerous or addictive?

The WHO attests that CBD has a very good safety profile and no potential for dependence. It is being successfully investigated in research for withdrawal from other addictions. We have summarised what this means exactly for you in this blog post: Is CBD dangerous?

Why 0.3% THC?

This limit is set by the legislator. In Austria and Germany, products with a THC content of 0.3% are legal. You will find a certificate of analysis for each of our products. CBD & pregnancy or breastfeeding

There are (as yet) no studies on CBD during pregnancy or breastfeeding, which is why we do not currently recommend it. Here, too, we would recommend that you consult doctors.

Can I give this to my pet?

Yes, animals may consume CBD. Whether dogs, cats, rodents or even horses. Our furry friends also benefit from the effect of CBD. You will find information about each product directly on the product detail pages.

From what age can I consume CBD?

Most of our products are approved as oral cosmetics or food supplements and are therefore suitable for all ages. Many of our customers report how their children benefit from CBD. Whether and from when you want to consume CBD is a very personal decision that everyone should make for themselves.

How long does shipping take?

From the time your money reaches our account, it usually takes 1-4 working days for shipping within Austria. To Germany it usually takes 4-6 working days. Internationally it can take up to 10 days. How much are the shipping costs?

Shipping within Austria and Germany (excluding islands) is free from a minimum order value of €75. Below €75, shipping costs €7.5.

Shipping within the other EU countries is free from a minimum order value of €100. Below €100, shipping costs €9.9.

Do you ship in neutral packaging?

Do you have curious neighbours and don’t want everyone to know what you order online? No problem. We always ship our parcels in neutral packaging!

Can I have my order delivered to a parcel locker?

Can you get your CBD products at Trafiken?
