Eazy Plug is a propagation and sowing medium made of organic bonded soil material. It is very easy to use. As the plugs are completely pre-buffered, you only need to soak them in water for a few minutes or water them generously. Then pour off the remaining water and let the plugs drain for a minute. The plugs only store the amount of water that the seedlings or seeds actually need. This makes overwatering, as can happen with rock wool, practically impossible. The optimal air-water balance of the Eazy Plug ensures healthy and rapid root development. With its outstanding performance, it is a more ecological and better-growing alternative to practically any type of growing substrate, such as normal potting soil, rock wool and many others.
A preset pH value with buffering
Through the addition of special components, the pH value is buffered, which means that the Eazy Plug keeps the preset pH value stable, even after adding water or nutrients with different pH values. In this way the pH value is stable and less prone to errors.
A preset EC value with buffering
The EC value is also buffered, so the EC value is stable and easier to control.
Open structure for an always correct balance of water and air
Simply let the Eazy Plug drain, and overwatering becomes almost impossible. The Eazy Plug lets the excess water drain away, so that the plug always provides enough air for an optimal root environment.
Water buffering
The Eazy Plug has the special property of buffering more water than soil. For this reason, the plant is less often in a stressful situation of too little water, and so the cutting grows better, which often results in a shorter rooting time. Thanks to this water buffering, the Eazy Plug has the necessary water for a longer period, even if the supply stagnates for some time or even stops. This in turn creates stable moisture, which is also better and easier to manage and less prone to errors by the user or the irrigation system.
Better controllability for a strong plant
Thanks to the water, EC and pH buffering of the Eazy Plug, plant cultivation with this cube can be steered generatively more effectively. This can significantly increase the quality of the plant or shift the desired time for repotting.
Base fertiliser
The Eazy Plug is pre-fertilised, so that the plant is supplied for the first 2-3 weeks. Thanks to the structure (buffer) of the cubes, you cannot really add too much fertiliser, so you can add fertiliser from the start without any problems.
Compatible with rock wool and other growing substrates
The composition and structure of the Eazy Plug make it very well suited for placing easily and without problems in rock wool slabs and/or blocks. Root growth will continue in the rock wool without any further adjustment problems and the complete water balance is maintained.
Stabilised and bonded cubes
The Eazy Plug is always firmly "bonded" into a single whole. This guarantees only a minimal risk of root damage during sorting or transplanting. It also ensures smooth "uptake" of water and fertiliser, and the risk of plant diseases is thereby minimised. Even when there are only very small roots or none at all.
If the Eazy Plug dries out
They easily absorb water again; even if the Eazy Plug has been completely dried out for a long time, they simply and directly absorb water again. All the original characteristics remain intact.
Fully compostable
The Eazy Plug consists predominantly of organic material and is compostable as a whole.
