Anyone buying CBD today takes a closer look and expects lab-tested CBD – and we think that’s a good thing. It is no longer enough for a product to be nicely packaged. The crucial questions are: where does the hemp come from? Who looks after the plants? And what exactly happens before the oil goes into the bottle?

For us, transparency is not a marketing term but the basis of our work. We want you to know what you are consuming. That is why we are giving you a direct insight into our processes here, from the field in Austria to the finished product.

Local cultivation: we know where it grows

Quality starts at the root. That is why our CBD hemp comes from Austrian indoor and outdoor cultivation that we have built up and look after ourselves. This gives us full control. We do not depend on anonymous wholesalers but can tailor light, temperature and irrigation precisely to the needs of our plants.

We follow a simple principle: nature knows best. We completely avoid the use of chemical-synthetic pesticides. Instead, we rely on biological pest control with beneficial insects. Animals such as the Orius bug or lacewing larvae keep pests in check in a completely natural way. As support, we use plant strengtheners such as field horsetail extract. This is more laborious than conventional methods but ensures a clean harvest.

We also take responsibility when it comes to resources: our irrigation systems work precisely and save water. We obtain 100% of the energy for our indoor facilities and processing from renewable sources such as hydro, wind power and photovoltaics.

Processing: a natural extract

Many people ask us about the manufacturing process. This is where we often differ from other manufacturers, and we attach great importance to this.

For our oils we use high-quality plant material from our outdoor cultivation. This is not chemically isolated but mixed directly with organic hemp seed oil. In this process, the valuable ingredients of the hemp flower – such as cannabinoids and flavonoids – dissolve in a completely natural way and pass directly into the carrier oil.

The result is a product that contains the full power of the plant without us having to add synthetic terpenes or artificial flavourings. We do without unnecessary additives and solvents. We prove that we work cleanly with certificates of analysis, which are publicly available for our products. This way you can see in black and white what is in the bottle.

Packaging and shipping: as little as possible, as much as necessary

A high-quality product deserves packaging that protects it without placing an unnecessary burden on the environment. We mainly use glass and paper, as these materials have a very high recycling rate.

We also try to keep our ecological footprint small when shipping. We use compact boxes so as not to transport unnecessary air, and we reduce the filling material to a minimum.
