CBD for Rabbits, Mice and Other Small Pets

Is it actually good for them?

Like humans, most animals have a natural endocannabinoid system. From this it can be concluded that they, too, can benefit from the effects of CBD. As CBD also has a very good safety profile according to the WHO, there is no reason to have any concerns.

For what or against what can they take CBD?

According to our product testers, common complaints are signs of ageing, restlessness during thunderstorms, epilepsy, nervousness during e.g. travel, moving house & medical or cosmetic treatments. But CBD can also help with fatigue or low mood. Pack animals in particular often suffer greatly from the loss of another beloved animal. So there are a wide range of possible uses to improve your pet’s well-being!

How do I recognise a good CBD oil?

As with all CBD products, the following applies: quality comes first! And how do you recognise good quality? As a layperson that is always difficult, so we recommend: look out for certificates of analysis and recommended intake. For our products, you will find the certificates directly on the product page.

Small animals in particular are also very sensitive to toxic substances and toxins, so we would strongly advise you to buy only certified organic products!

Which product is suitable for my small animal?

For small companions, we have the organic Small Animal CBD Oil in our range especially for them. It is suitable for all animals under 30 kg. Especially with very small animals such as mice or chinchillas, we recommend starting with a low dose and observing your animal. Most owners know their fluffy friends best anyway!

Is CBD also suitable for other animals?

Yes! Absolutely. That is why our oils are not called mouse, rabbit or chinchilla – oil. All kinds of small and large animals can benefit from the effects, e.g. horses too. For animals over 30kg we therefore have our organic CBD oil for large animals. Only for cats is there a separate product. We explain why here.
