CBD Oil Dosage: 5%, 10% or 20% – Which Strength Suits You?

The right CBD oil and dosage depend on two things: how much CBD a single drop should contain and how much you want to use overall. Our three oils differ only in the amount of CBD. Origin, carrier oil and lab testing are the same for all of them. Here the facts are set out side by side so you can decide for yourself. All three are full spectrum oils: an extract from the flowers of our own hemp, dissolved in organic hemp seed oil. The THC content is stated as below 0.2%; the 20% oil also contains 0.25% CBG. Which strength suits whom?

5% – the smallest amount per drop

CBD Oil 5% has the smallest amount of CBD per drop. Many beginners start here because the amount can be adjusted drop by drop in small steps.

10% – the medium strength

CBD Oil 10% contains twice as much CBD per drop as the 5% oil. For the same amount of CBD, you need half as many drops.

20% – the highest amount per drop

CBD Oil 20% has the highest amount of CBD per drop. If you use larger amounts, you need the fewest drops here, and one bottle lasts the longest.

Whether 5, 10 or 20%: our oils are placed on the market as mouth and gum cosmetics, which is why we do not give any recommendation for intake. The directions are on the label: 3x daily, drip 12 drops into the oral cavity and keep in the mouth for 1–2 minutes. With the table above you can work out how much CBD that is for each strength: 12 drops are around 20 mg with the 5% oil, around 40 mg with the 10% oil and around 80 mg with the 20% oil.

10 ml or 30 ml?

Each strength is also available as a 30 ml pack, which is three bottles of 10 ml each: CBD Oil 5% in 30 ml with 1,500 mg, CBD Oil 10% in 30 ml with 3,000 mg and CBD Oil 20% in 30 ml with 6,000 mg. Per milligram of CBD, the 30 ml pack is cheaper than three individual bottles, and of the three strengths, the 20% oil is the cheapest per milligram. How to recognise quality

With CBD oil, four things count, whatever the manufacturer: origin, carrier oil, spectrum and lab testing. This is covered in detail in the article How to recognise a good CBD oil. For our three oils, this means:
